Most roleplaying worlds are simply that: a collection of rules and ideas which the GM then takes and molds their own campaign. The idea behind Ghosthunter
Naru is a bit different: in essence, it is a roleplaying book about a fandom (in this case, a fictional tv anime) which you will all take part in. That's
right, you're given the outline for an anime premise which you then run off with in whatever direction you please. NPCs and PCs are pre-made, although you
can add your own (and perhaps even ignore NPCs altogether) if you wish to still mold your own idea for a campaign.
Because this is an anime setting, all the standard crazy rules for anime apply. The world of Ghosthunter Naru has magical schoolgirls, demons, angels, ghosts,
mecha, and all that other fun stuff associated with typical camp highschool romance anime. If you wish to use the rules presented by Ghosthunter Naru to
run your own anime-themed campaign, feel free to take what you please.
